Kennedy Space Center
On July 1st Mom and I went to Kennedy Space Center to go see Space Shuttle Discovery launch. We had a great time except the worst part was the time we had to wake up; 5:30 in the morning! This is just 1 of the F1 engines that proppelled the Saturn V rocket into space. They pump out an almost mind-shattering 37 Million horespower!
Here, 6 miles away, is Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-121 sitting on pad 39B.
This is a cruise liner we spotted on the bus out to our viewing area. It is in the port off the Banana River.
This is a Mar's rover that was on display in one of the museums.

Your mom told me you guys were going to the KSC today. When I heard on the news that the shuttle was launched I thought of you guys, remembering you were there. Glad you had fun!

Those engines are huge, the boys liked seeing them and we're all jealous!
